car is fixed!! the shop did an amazing job painting the WHOLE bumper for $400. she paid for it of course and it is brand new again. im happy everything worked out good and this will be the last time im playing nice guy with these kind of matters.

If you have a nice car like the camaro call the police every time. A lot of people won't do the right thing once they leave the spot where they hit you. So get a police report. The police will make sure they have up to date insurance and drivers license and will fill out this info on the report.
A few years back my new xterra was hit by a lady and even with the police report she tried to get her insurance company not to pay. They paid because they couldn't dispute the police report. So if I would have gotten just her info without the report I would have been stuck with my insurance footing the bill and paying my 500.00 deductible out of my pocket. The first question your insurance company asks when you call them is " are you ok". The second is " did you get a police report?".
