If you would like, I can go ahead and contact your local dealership and deliver them the great feedback. If you want to send me details on your experience, feel free to contact me at any time!

Great buying experience, still get phone calls to see how the car is doing, and when he finds out I'm in town at the dealer, he makes a point to come talk to me and see how I'm doing. But I like many others, researched online to find the car "I" wanted with the options "I" wanted. Still haven't gotten a survey from anything other than the 2 times in service .

My sales person was very nice and polite. But it might have been one of his first sales at least I hope. He didnt know very much about the car, and couldnt even show me how to but the cover on my vert. My total experience was great once I got past the sales guy lack of knowledge.

I'm sorry, but you shouldn't rely on a 'salesman' to explain the different packages and options to you.

Do your homework.

Anything I buy that I have any kind of interest in, I do serious research on my own and make my own decisions. By the time I have made my decision, all the salesman has to do is drag his knuckles over to me, ring me up, and get me out the door. When it comes to a vehicle, pretty much the same thing, only I am required to talk to these people in order to get the right price.

It amazes me that people just casually walk into a dealer and buy a car without knowing everything about it first.

Just a FYI - A salesman doesn't give a crap about you or if you're satisfied. They want to make money. To the OP - he didn't call you up to make sure you were happy because he cared about you and your purchase, he did it so they get the points GM gives back for a good survey response.

People have gotten lazier I guess. Even with car mods and aftermarket stuff, people just hand a wad of cash to a vendor and say, "make it fast!". Doesn't anybody enjoy doing the work and research themselves anymore?

anyhow, all the other camaro's do in fact come with a spare. if you do in fact have an LS, you have a spare.
No. The spare tire is an option on non-SS cars.

I went and built my car several times on the chevrolet website. Then I went to Consumer Reports and put in exactly what I wanted, got a 3 bids from 3 salesmen (all bids were under invoice) and choice the dealer I wanted to work with, Izzy Vargas from Santa Paula Chevrolet. He went out and found me my exact car and sold it to me for the price he quoted me (again, under MSRP and invoice). It was that simple! I was shocked. I would do business again with him in a heartbeat.

I knew what I wanted before I went to the dealer 1LT/RS just wasn't set in stone on the color. First dealer wanted a credit app just for me to test drive so I laughed at him and walked out.

The dealership I bought it at I almost walked out of. As soon as I pulled onto the lot, here comes the guy following me around on a golf cart, asked for a different salesman, turns out the guy who sold me the car did our mortgage for our house and sold cars on the side, so I was comfortable in dealing with him. Got what I wanted for my trade and got the car for 1k under sticker.

I got pre approved at my credit union in advance but I still had to go in the finance office which I wasn't happy about. The only package the lady was pushy about was the buff and shine paint protection since my car is orange. I laughed and told her there is no way in hell I am paying $700 for this crap so I ended up getting it for free.

When I got the survey I gave them the highest marks available but requested a manager from the dealer to call. The owner called me and seemed concerned, I just addressed some concerns I had and he thanked me for my blunt honesty.

The last thing he said before I left was, "Please don't do a burnout here."

The service and body departments have been great not only with my Camaro but also with our two Pontiacs.

And they are 5 minutes from home!
If you would like me to pass on the praise too your local dealership, I would be glad to do so. I am sure they would love the feedback. Just send me all of the details in a PM. What is your favorite feature on your Camaro thus far?

Recently I found out my service worker did not complete one of the things I told him about. I have emailed him and still no reply its been 2 days. I may just go down there today and if still nothing gets done go over his head. Starting to not care about if he gets a full satisfactory rating anymore.

Actually, if you meant to say "only the RS's" your would have been closer to the truth. My RS 2LT has no spare. If I am not mistaken, the spare is an option on all of the trims, though. At least that is the way I remember it from the 100 or so times I built one online before I bought.

Sounded funny though. Lol.

My experience was awesome. Wiesner Huntsville really took care of me from the initial search to purchase and now with accessories I had them add.

My sales rep was awesome and answered all my questions...went WAY out of the way to make sure I was happy with the car. The finance manager went even further out of the way to get me the deal I wanted. And the body shop manager was extremely nice and did an incredible job installing all my exterior accents, including my rally stripes.

Best dealer ever.
