The carbon fiber look is for stupid Honda Civics. Sorry.
I think it looks good if done tastefully.
But I won't have any carbon fiber in my car.
I'm more interested in the leather panels and steering wheels.

That looks cheap and creased. If people are trying to save money, and bought a 1LT to conserve, why on Earth would they spend money they don't have on custom carbon fiber inserts? It blows my mind.

What I would like is orange carbon fiber with fiber optics inside the white/orange area's.. That would be different and worthy of putting into a $30,000 car..

Would you like a strobe light and disco music with that too?

No, but something subtle where the brightness can be controlled.

If I want the disco ball effect in the car, I can always where this...

By overlay, he does not mean that it's a vinyl sticker! He's just telling you that it's not SOLID carbon fiber... so those who may be swayed on that point. ALL carbon fiber parts that are sold for cars or bikes on the aftermarket are what's called overlayed. It's a fiberglass base mold with a layer or two of CF fabric bonded and resined over. That's the way ALL CF is made unless we're talking about racing carbon fiber which is solid, and used to make race body parts for race cars and MotoGP bikes. Solid CF is extremely expensive, and thus would not be worth it for a DD.

Autozone doesnt stock parts that have ACTUAL CF in them. They have the vinyl sticker crap that literally takes 2 seconds to make.

That being said, in this application, the CF door panels would be an appearance modification. To each their own. So if you're one of the guys getting the IOM interior package, I could rant about how I think it looks cheezy to have bright orange accents all over your interior. But in the end it all boils down to what you want to look at when you're driving your car.

Last point. These door panels are not cheap vinyl stickers. It takes a lot of work to get the CF fabric stretched and oriented perfectly. And then a long time bonding them and then coating the fabric in resin and many hours buffing and polishing to a nice shine. Point is DVS customs has put alot of work into the parts... anyone who has bought CF parts before can tell by the first picture that they have made some very nice CF there... So hats off to them, looking forward to prices!

Would you guys ever make a "carbon fiber black with orange" for the people that want carbon fiber look for their IO interior?

Nice picture background

You couldn't find a better place to take these pictures? maybe a studio, a white sheet, anything to make you look more professional?

Nonetheless, I am looking forward to leather panel photos.
