We went to Barber Motorsports Park to gather data from the added power, test out the stock suspension, and see what improvements we need to make for new Camaro owners.

We are currently manufacturing a handling package that will improve the responsiveness and grip. Keep watching our website for more details.

Update

To determine the power gain produced by simply adding additional boost to the TVS on our 2010 Camaro project car, this morning we decided to put a smaller pulley on the jackshaft of the TVS and raised the boost from 7lbs to 9.5. While still retaining all factory components (headers, mufflers, thermostat, etc.), horsepower jumped up 45 at the rear wheels which raised bhp from 576 to 632.

Now that we have seen the gain produced by the added boost we will lower it back to 7lbs to insure the longevity of our short block.

This afternoon we are installing a set of American Racing Headers to determine the power produced by those combined with our TVS system. We'll have dyno #'s as early as tomorrow morning.

Update!

Sorry to keep everyone waiting. The dyno run was completed this morning but this is the first chance I've had to post the results.

The addition of the American Racing Headers to our TVS system exceeded our expectations! With a makeshift air filter set-up and AR headers at 7.5lbs of boost we witnessed a 77hp jump at the rear wheels resulting in 569rwhp. This translates to a bhp jump from 576 to 667 and brings torque to 641ft/lbs! For future reference, we then decided to make a power pull with 10lbs of boost. As you can see from the dynograph below, horsepower jumped to 591 at the rear wheels (695 at the crank)!

MTI Racing TVS system with American Racing 1 7/8" headers @ 7.5lbs of boost.

MTI Racing TVS system with American Racing 1 7/8" headers @ 10lbs of boost.

We can't wait to see the power gains of additional complimentary components such as a Cold Air Intake, cat-back system, camshaft, themostat, etc.

With the addition of the MTI Racing TVS system alone, power jumped to 576hp and 547ft/lbs of torque. As with all TVS powered cars, low rpm torque is incredible with over 528 ft/lbs of torque at 3000 rpms. This power is achieved with only 7lbs of boost and on 93 octane pump gas.

With the addition of complimentary components such as cold air induction, a low temp thermostat, headers, and a cat-back exhaust, we expect much more.

Great numbers, I love in the end of the posted video he pretends to walk over to the car to get back in and as the camera moves in to focus on your decal above camaro you see his shadow go the other direction and he never gets in the car!!! Sorry, I just had to say something. Guys a salesman though, I'll give him that.

A Salesman??? He is Reese Cox, the owner, a professional Race Driver, head of engineering. Far from being a Salesman. No disrespect to any salesman, but that's not what he is...!
