I've had a car with it on the drivers and passenger side, and I really do dislike it on the passenger side. Only cause in jersey where they pump fuel for you, they need to ask how much you want and you have to speak to the attendant through the passenger window(kinda awkward).
I'd prefer it on the driver side, but you eventually get used to it and remember.

Not really, I like to see the reactions and views of others. I would like it in the rear like in the 69'.

I also own a 300zx and the fuel door is on the driver side and I would have to make sure I did not get to close to the pumps so I could get out with out hitting the yellow post with the door.

That is why I like the fuel door on the passenger side on the Camaro. That was until my wife opened the passenger door, now I'm thinking Lambos.

Doesn't bother me. However, sometimes I wish the gas cap was located between the taillights like on my old '78 Camaro. I thought that was kinda cool and it didn't matter which side the gas pump was on.

If I were in a hurry I'd probably reverse into the open side.

Yeah, but if you run out of gas on a bridge you're filling on the 300 foot cliff side.

In New Zealand like Australia we drive on other side of road, so actually works out well for us at the pumps, one thing I wish they had done was put a access plate on top of fuel pump location spot for ease of removal & repair.

Going between the camaro and the vet makes it a bit tedious but 80% of the time I recall so no big deal lol

most cars I've driven have had it on the passenger side, and I prefer it that way.

I like not whacking my door on the gas pump barriers. It's fine where it is.
