I dont mind the steering wheel, but I definitely like the '10 and '11 ones over the '12 ones. And leather wrapped/suede wrapped > unwrapped.

I agree though, there should be some more aftermarket steering wheel options. But im happy with my leather wrapped '11 one, for now.

Horrible, just horrible advice. If society functioned on this mechanism of thought we would still live in caves. IMO I think Camaro specific wheels ARE BETTER, that is my opinion. OP clearly does not like his wheel - this does not mean he has to just deal with it...he is free to create and modify his wheel to his hearts desire.

To be fair, the Camaro, as well as the Challenger do remind me of sailing ships. Ever hear the term "land-yacht"?

Love my ZL1 wheel, the bow tie doesn't really bother me but I'd there was a simple way to cover or replace it I probably would.

I'd say thats where the airbag actually rips through the airbag cover.

Fun fact for all those complaining about the steering wheel being the same as the cruze; corvettes and cobalts share the same wheel

Looks good !
Is the ZL1 wheel more thicker and less slippery than stock ?

I like the 2010's steering wheel. Looks custom to the car instead of a standard steering wheel across their other vehicles.

Maybe something specific to the Camaro could have been designed?
They kinda did, 2010's steering wheel is not shared with any other vehicle unlike the new ones that are shared in 4-5 different vehicles.

Just got off the phone with rodgers parts dept. (not Maureen who's out until Monday) They say there is no matching part number for the Zl1 wheel on a 2SS 2011. Not sure what that means but Maureen is going to call me next week and I will post her comments.

Can you ask what the actual suede wheel part number is? Also, if you order just the suede wheel (say from a gm parts dealer online) is that all you will need to have a dealer do the install? I was quoted $75 at a dealer to do the install and I've been seeing the wheel for around $200 online. I just want to make sure I won't need any other air bag parts, wires, screws, etc.

Anyone ever find out what the part number was for the ZL1 wheel or really the correct question should be what is the part number for the 1LE wheel with the SS emblem on it?
