So at the risk of sounding cheap, is the Hennessey HPE700 upgrade really worth the extra $8K just to say you have a "Hennessey"?! I'm so on the fence here
hennessy does run headers and lingenfelter does not so not all of the 8k is just extra. Not sure if hennessy does heads in house either. they also have 1 more year waranty.

Seems like a good 5k more though than the lingenfelter package though.

Here are some photos of racebums Hennessey ZL1 HPE 700 #3. Would I pay the $20k for the 700 package from Hennessey yes I like the work and warranty they offer I know nothing about many of the other shops, the only other shop I like is Vengeance Racing up in GA.

Did I miss something? Was my video buffering? I just don't see when the CTSV wagon beats the ZL1. I see a clip of four guys in the CTSV but the clip looks like after race cruise, probably Matt started braking first. Just don't see a clear cut winner

1st race starts @ 9:55 - 10:11 -- which the V sandbags and losses.
2nd race starts @ 10:20 - 10:39 -- The V not sandbagging and won.
3rd race starts @ 10:55 - 11:15 -- V with three passengers and won.

Cool. but i wouldnt want that much power. the only value in having that power is being able to blow the doors off just about anybody at your local dragstrip. and im not a drag strip guy so its not for me.

Used 75 Camaro = $3500
Rolling restoration over 10 years = $5000
$5 of gas burned in 10 seconds = Priceless!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm looking at a similar set up but I'll be paying far less than 20K. This car is badass though and Hennessey does have a good warranty.
