Ha ha fair enough, I added my own extra details to your question apparently. I was thinking you were referring to a buddy with a stock 3V GT.

That's why every race is really a driver's race.

I have the same exact mods as you! The fast list has not had to much activity yet on times with the ported intake manifold with spacer. I personally think it is a drivers race and if you get the cams its game over

I can't speak for the V6 Camaro but I have had a 08 GT with a CAI and BAMA tune. Never ran the GT stock but I would think on its best day it was a high 13's car. With the CAI and tune it ran mid 13's. I don't think the OP is going to run into a stock GT because CAI and tune is really cheap on those cars and gives you at least 25RWHP. Also most are going to have 3.73 or 4.11 gears because this is another really cheap and effective mod for those cars. Any exhaust mods after the cats do nothing for power on those cars just like the Camaro. One thing about that car is it was VERY consistant. I could have bracket raced with that car and won money. It had no low end torque to speak of so traction was never a issue due to the stock torque converter and stock gears. I would venture to say if the OP can run mid 13's then he has a drivers race of beating the GT.

Not sure about the 1/4 mile, but on the 1/8th mile I ran against 3 different Mustang GT's from about 2002 to 2007 and beat them all.

95% of the Cammed 3V's I've seen running at many of the tracks here are pulling mid-high 12's between street tires and DR's. I truly don't feel a light bolt-on LS is running right with one that is not only properly driven and properly setup. A 100 shot will definitely turn the tides, but I don' think it will put the LS dramatically ahead. I am getting more and more impressed with the V6 Camaro's.
