maybe i should have reworded what i posted....i can afford tags but didnt set enough to the side due to some complications. tag is getting put on tomorrow for all the people that have put their 2 cents in. 4 days parked and now to start driving it again for everyone that keeps telling me to sell it cus they are scared they might pull up next to me and their girls like mine better than their camaro, i have never missed a payment, i do have insurance, pay that all the time, this is the second tag going on the car and the first time its going on a little late. i do have savings that were meant for other emergencies and stuff going on in my life right now and tag was last thing on that list to get. tag will be on tomorrow though and NO for sale sign will go up

WOW, that is alot. Here in NY, even with my personalized plates, it didn't cost me more than 300 for 2 years....ouch

Understandable! A few of my friends are in similar situations with this economic mess still slapping people in the face. I've been going nuts with the village repaving my alley so my Camaro is in lockdown despite the fact my tags are good. If I didn't have my motorcycle I'd be shooting people from the top of a tall building with a high powered rifle. (joking of course!)

You'll be driving again soon man so in the mean time I suggest beer, pizza, and putting your girlfriend to work with the tender loving care. Failure to heed my advice may result in penile dysfunction, emotional distress, and testicular cancer.

Don't let it happen to you!

No way to 'borrow' a Memphis address? TN tags are MUCH cheaper. I definitely don't miss paying for MS tags.

Some people dont understand that certain states are ridiculous in tagging cars. Mine is $450 bucks. Good luck and I hope you get tags on it soon!

Those "temporary operating permits" are issued after you pay all registration fees. DMV gives them to cars that fail to pass a smog check.
It give you three months to drive it and get the car to pass smog.

just print your own sticker tab to slap on that plate, or put L.A.F on the window
