convertible owners.. how do you combat the sun?

I cannot stand people that buy a convertible, then put the top down but then roll all the windows up.

But that's just me. I just think it should be mandatory that if the top goes down, so do the windows.

Notice that when you lower the top, all the windows automatically go down? (hint, hint)

have to agree with this..

I also have no use for those wind screens most convertibles come with now..

wind screen up, windows up, top down... why not just get a hard top with a sunroof?????

I never understood why people have the windows up. I see it here a lot and it just looks stupid to me.

I usually drive top/windows down, but sometimes I need it calm inside to talk on the phone or something, I'll raise the windows.

for me it's sunblock along with my red camaro basball cap. Sun or shade; day or night, there is nothen like drop top cruisen. I've owned four convertibles over the last 45 years and this is by far the best.

I get visors and baseball hats when the sun is really bad during the summer. Otherwise, I just use a little sun tan lotion in the Fall and Winter months when the top is down for a long time. I also find the top enjoyable of an evening as well!
