You can call it whatever you want as long as you get one for your car! lol

The first initial production run will require the PCM to be shipped in. We are waiting on handheld support to come online. We would rather do the first 60 or 75 in house anyhow, that way we can verify the O/S on each PCM. We all know G Motors has a habit of switching it up in the middle of a release.

Good to know - thanks. I would prefer (well, if I were able) to have a custom tune over a canned tune anyways. Still, it's nice to see that's in the works and the car won't turn into a paperweight while the PCM is getting flashed.

Thanks

So is it always going to use the stock airbox? I would think that even a universal K&N cone would be better.

We make the power with the stock air box, and with the carbon traps in the air box we are not allowed to change it.

Would you say it's worth it to use an aftermarket air box then to use in conjunction with the SC? I understand it won't be within CARB profiles however, I doubt it would even be noticable.

Thanks

I have seen 15-20 HP gains with aftermarket air boxes.......Some are better than others.

Hmm... Do you think that accounts for some small differences in dynos', like going from SLPs ~500 RWHP and Hennessey's 530 RWHP? If so, that's good to know

I always say dynos are like Boobies, no two are the same

It is all about the baseline, then you can measure the gain. If you do not have a baseline dyno, then the HP test is useless IMHO.
