Look how at how much a fully loaded SS was in 2002. Talk about being too expensive then.
$32k with no options... I also need an auto. +$1k Thats pushing my budget.

I agree about the 4th gen to an extent. I will say the LS1 drivetrain was solid and easily mod-able (besides some piston slap).

Youll be able to have your car if you are getting it next year. There will be all kinds of rebates and incentives on the car.

Yes, but the regular brakes stop just as good as the brembo's, but brembos are better with multiple stops. And reviews point out that the Mustang handles well without the IRS.

Plus it doesn't weigh as much and you can see better out the windows.

Oh, and Ford isn't bankrupt (yet?) and you can actually find a Mustang to buy.

I haven't seen any 2010 Mustangs on lots and, as has been discussed, it's not a totally new car. Did we all really just expect thousands of Camaros to simply materialize?

There were 4 of them on a dealer lot in NH, including a convertible.

Okay, but that's your experience. The point remains that I've seen more Camaros for sale than 2010 Mustangs. And that's including any time I've spent driving farther south or north (to the Upstate SC wedding I attended this past weekend).

It's possible they are just as rare as the Camaro. After checking out the Mustang, I am just saying that it's a nice car and still a viable option for many. The Camaro is cool but it isn't necessarily the last word in American sports cars.

I think the Camaro and the Mustang are priced well. The Camaro offers more performance, but I think the Mustang offers more luxury. I just wish Ford didn't go and ugly it up like they did. Looking forward to the 5.0 though.

I was looking at a fully loaded 2002 Z28 last weekend. Original sticker with all the options was $28,400. With the owners employee GM discount they purchased the car new for $25,000 before taxes.

What was the price of the base V6 in 2002?

They assumed that for the base V6 model?

The price is just right!

You get MUCH more then the mustangs and for only $4,000 more. $31,000 for a "corvette" (i know its not a corvette but its as close as u can get without paying $45,000+) and the interior is like a Ferrari compared to the mustang.

Lol and if you wanted to compare apples to apples you would need to compare the base line camaro LS v6 version because that's in the same class as the mustang GT (only 10hp less then the GT ahahaha) so yeah the camaro is priced just right! (MSRP)

Abso-fricken-lutely not!!!

SS is not priced too high. Infact all the reviews say that the 1SS is a real bargin

Honestly? Where are you gonna get brand new 422hp car for just over 30k? 34k nicely equiped. An 2SS/RS manual is 35k right? That's all you need right there. Nothing touches that.

I guess it's all a matter of opinion. The interior of the 2010 Mustang seemed nice to me. They added an actual padded IP top also. And the gauges aren't on the floor.

HP isn't everything. From what I hear the GT is still a good match for the SS. The Mustang weighs less. About 300 pounds less, from what I have read. And I hate to have to say this, but the Mustang looks way better under the hood. It actually looks like an engine.

Bwahaha, if you think that is at all realistic, you're nuts!

No one is even paying MSRP for the Challenger, let alone above MSRP for a used one!

NOTE: The Challenger is a hot car, but the times aren't right for the car to be worth more then the MSRP.
