Great write up and explanation about your CAI's. I know that I have 2 of your systems, one on my Camaro and one on my wifes Tahoe and I love them both.

For anyone on the fence about getting an intake for their vehicle, especially the Camaro, these guys are the way to go. Not only does it rank as one of the highest if not the highest on almost every test or poll it is a part of, but these guys provide great customer service and make a high quality product that does not cut any corners in terms of quality or design. I have met them at the last Camaro Fest and was very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, and their overall commitment to the Camaro and this Forum and its' members. If you want the best CAI you can get for your Camaro, and want to turn some heads when the hood is popped, go with Cold Air Inductions Inc. Thats my .02 cents.

I've bought other cold air intakes in the past, but Cold Air Induction intake is by far the best one I have ever owned.

I'm excited to finally be getting my CAI. I don't know if I should name the vendor, but last night, I bought the CAI in black, with race scoop and Rotofab washer bottle as a kit for $489. I'm stoked that my car is finally coming together. I've been spending obscene amounts of money on it lately. :\

Definitely. I also got a free skip-shift eliminator with it. I have way too many projects planned, but now they're going to have to wait until winter weather is over. :(

Winter is a great time to install mods, you just can't enjoy them right away!

It's only a great time if you have a garage.

Highly doubt that. However I am looking at a house on three acres that has a covered parking area that I might turn into a garage, if I get it. :P

In other news, my CAI cold air intake came today. Looks like really nice stuff. Can't wait for a break in the rain.

Well there you go, good luck with that!

Awesome!! Glad to here that you got it, make sure to take some pictures once you install it! Did you get the "Near Chrome" or the "Textured Black" finish?

Black, definitely. I can't see the chrome look working well with my matte-black-on-green motif.

Just dropped off my TSP headers yesterday to be ceramic coated satin black as well. Gonna be a sexy engine bay.
