It popped again...time to call the dealer for a new clip.

Yep that is what mine looks like... stays popped out all the time on passenger side... Dealer ordered a new pillar the day I drove it off the lot. (after they failed to fix it) Dont' think it matters but no sunroof here...

Took delivery of 8575 on Wednesday. So far I have not noticed any problems with the front windshield A arm pillars trim piece.

Mine keeps popping out as well, no sunroof BTW.

did any body notice if the nipple was chipped .i checked mine and the nipple is cracked .these are made not to be tight since there is a airbag inside there .but they should not pop off .im thinking that the person on the line that installed these didnt line them up when he banged them in .just check to see if nipple is cracked .

Mine was also like this when we picked it up yesterday..........the dealer told me to go home for a week and look everything over, make a list, and bring it back and they would take care of anything I needed so no biggie.

Had dealer look at it today. Thanks to Camaro5 I was able to sound somewhat intelligent on the subject. A new clip is on backorder (but at least my quarter flares came in).

That's what my salesman said.

But he's already ordered "the fix". My cover will snap in place but come loose after 5 seconds. The V6 I drove prior to my delivery did the same thing. It sounds like there are lots of others w/ same problem, but it's a very MINOR problem that doesn't upset me b/c I know GM knows by now and by reading here have already manufactured a better part!

I have this problem too.....my dealership has ordered a part to fix it...i'm just waiting on the part to come in.
