The snow had started hitting the upper midwest now after the lond dry summer. SO its coming your way, sooner or later the jet stream will change and you will get hammered. Who knows maybe next year you will get really lousy weather and then they will blame the cold on global warming?

Not going to happen, and if a person really studies things the long term has been for lower temps the last twenty years. There are things like the oscillation to factor in and things many people jumping on the global warming band wagon want to ignore as they want to be in the majority. Mean while some where in the EPA (employment prevention act), liberal appointees are busy finding ways to shove corn in your gas tank, and make cars so light and fuel efficient by forcing the CAFE standards on us we all would have to buy junk in the future.

Look at the cost of a volt to make and then sell......cost to build 70K selling price: 40k discounted to lower thirties as GM has to make them due to big brother watching over them. And it is only going to get worse. Thank god you got a camaro now, and these guys who park thier 1ls in the winter make me laugh...ROFL....

I have lived in oregon most my life in heavy rain and snow and driven rear wheel drive and not posi cars in it safely all my life. I did once do a 180 hydroplaning in a 73 chevelle ss, but hey, no damage done to the car....should have just gunned it in the opposite direction now that i think about it..i was doing about 55 and hit some bad ruts full of water on super wide 50's.....ye hah, hang on and hit the brakes.
Sure you are from Oregon, you will get run out of this state with that kind of OBJECTIVE thinking, ha.

For me, I love global warming.

OR is going to screw up our roads/car/bridges, starting a "test salt area" on I-5 south of Medford before the CA border. Also a lonely stretch of road on Rt 95 where Jordan Valley goes into NV, bastards. Grew up in OH, salt is the worst. This is one time to unleash the environmentalists, ha.

oh cool! you're a scientist! if you don't mind, i'd LOVE to look at your research, since about 99% of the scientific community disagrees with you. I'm really interested to see your methods and how they differ from others being used. I'm just relieved I don't have to worry about global warming anymore. whew! really dodged a bullet there...

Ha! This is interesting to think about! I was just wondering myself when we were going to get hit with the snow here in Michigan. The weatherman is saying sometime at the end of the week. Be sure you all get your Camaros prepped for winter, especially in Michigan where it can literally change to all 4 seasons in a week's time.

I threw my snow tires on yesterday, I heard we might have snow end of this week. It was nice while it lasted.

In the middle of the couple hours of light sprinkling, we got exactly 5 snowflakes yesterday (I counted them).

I absolutely love snow, it's the salt that burns my britches. They seem to salt here if it's down to 50* and cloudy. I will walk before I drive my Camaro in the salt (up until a decent rain washes it away)

I still have 295/40/18 Nitto NT05's on it. You can't get much more non-winter than that, but I'm getting ready to install my new 20's with Falken FK453 "max performance summer" tires. They'll be a wintertime improvement from the NT05's.

...Silverado 4x4 beater FTW.

So you want snow? I guess you want the salt and sand to pepper your paint as well?

Keep quiet and do not jinx us!

We've had snow flurries here for the last two days, but nothing really sticking around here to the roads. Car is completely covered with that white stuff though. Would like to drive it, but it's not going anywhere with those P-zeros.

I didn't want to wait anymore on snow to come. So I went on and had my winter setup installed today. It is below 40 most of the time anyways, so the p-zeros had to go.
