I've already had other 5th gen owners pull up next to me at lights and get my attention to ask about the lights. They really are an awesome product.

Can't wait for other owners to notice lol

Let me know when you get pulled over for the flashing before the break lights come on, or was that a Just for Show, they just come on solid when you hit the break???

With that said, Looks cool

Looks great.
I got mine in the first batch out from Apex a couple years ago. Easy install and they've been working perfect ever since. I enjoy the show mode during car shows.

nope.... had mine 2 years- 10,000 miles of driving in California and Texas... never pulled over (for that).

It is legal. I think if you don't like that feature you can turn it off?????

Hmm... I like these but can the rapid fire brake be turned off? Basically can they function like normal tail lights except for when used as a turn signal?

Turn signals are cool tho. Very Mustangy. :emoticon7:
+1 on the brake lights. That's the only thing I'm on the fence on. Other than that it looks great.

Saw a new Mustang w/ the sequential brake lights on the way to work this AM - very cool. Works better on the Mustang w/ the 3 separate lights.

That flash before the brake lights go solid is the "Rapid Fire" feature. I can't imagine this is illegal, since there are some factory made cars out there that pulse like this before going solid.

Yes, it can be turned off

Each feature is set to be on or off when you install them. There is a set of dip switches, just set the features you want and leave off the ones you do not want.

Yes, I believe the rapid fire can be turned off, but it applies to all 4 lights, so you can't pick which ones...they are either all on or all off. It's a little switch inside each light. I thought about doing it but in my haste to get them in,I forgot

And yes, they will function like normal lights except for the seq turn signal and when the after burner LEDs are on....lights up the back of hour car like a Christmas tree!
