What do you all think?
Find a New Dealership and Service Department!!!!!

There's more leg room in the hatch of my C6 than the back seats of the new Camaro's

But I personally like the looks of the new Camaro's....trying to talk my fiance' into trading for one...

Yeah, two guys on my street that both own LS3 Vettes (weekend toys) are looking into buying a Camaro SS. And basically money is no object to these guys. Even an LS3 Vette is pocket change to them. They just like the new Camaro.

The one Vette owner stops me whenever he sees me. He can't get enough of my car. Lots of Chevy love on my street.

In my opinion, most performance oriented people aren't going to look between a loaded up 2SS RS Camaro with summer tires and Brembo's and then also a base Corvette with the regular Goodyears and smaller brakes. They would at least opt for the old F51 package or the newer Grand Sports, with all the upgrades they include. The Corvette is designed, engineered, and built to be an all out sports car. From its chassis to aerodynamics to weight distribution, to power train. The Camaro is designed completely different and is very nice in a different way. Fast, comfortable, and damn good looking, but yet it never feels quite like the bargain supercar the Corvette is. Just my 2 cents from getting to drive and ride in both daily.

The base corvette has always been faster than the base v8 camaro, unless you try to compare a 50s vette to a 5th gen.

I disagree. It's all about your needs. I left my Corvette for my Camaro. I needed the back seat with kids. Also, for me, the look of the vette has grown old in my opinion and I wanted something new. I still think its one of the best looking cars around. I just wanted the new kid on the block.

haha i can afford a ferrari but i still chose a camaro that will most likely smoke your "RICH MANS CORVETTE " thats a joke and for the price you spend on your vette by the time i spend that much on the camaro it will have 4 times the amount of hp your vette does ,although i love vettes !!!!!! that was just a stupid statement ,to each their own !

The camaro SS and C6 Vette are both great performance cars....

Ones a two seater..ones a four seater.. with the four seater holding an extra 500 lbs..

Pick your poison.. and enjoy either..

I wish I had the extra cash laying around to have one of each....

fwiw..the G8 GT and the CTS V are cool four door versions of GM's hot performance lineup that rock too..

its a really great time to be a GM performance enthusiast..

Gotta say though at 31 grand...the base Camaro SS is a smokin deal!
couldnt of said it any better myself !

The saying has always existed that the camaro is the "poor man's corvette"...it doesn't mean that you have to not have money to drive a Camaro, it means that the Camaro is a performance powerhouse at a lower price point.
