On the Z28/SS refesh and more specifically the Z28 the seats are not powered to save "Weight"
I suspect they will NOT be powered if carried over to the ZL1 period ! Compare prices from Z28 seats to powered CTS -V to get your price point difference , will be a lot higher

Its not he seat that is power its the seat tracks. You can buy a set of Recaros or most other aftermarket seats and they usually have universal mounting holes for different seat tracks. I did this twice on my Saleens with Recaros and Corbeau

What would be the weight of the z28 seats vs the zl1..........i would only want to swap if it was for the manuel lighter z28 version..........looked on recaro website last night..seats seem to about a grand a piece

That would be sweet, indeed. Love it on my Boss and would love it on the Camaro too! It'll be pricey though but a nice upgrade for those that decide to mod...

Aftermarket seats probably don't have the airbags, the OEM seats will probably be close to the CTS-V option price,( less the back seats)
If you're older, or larger fella, you may want to find a CTS-V with them and get in and out of it a few times, you don't just slide out of these.
