SS M6 will drain battery if not parked in Reverse

This makes no sense to me. If the key is off what difference would it make what gear it was left in?

I've stored my 1SS Camaro four winters and never had a problem. Maybe it's just with the newer models.

My car was parked 2 weeks in neutral. Started up just fine.
