Because it sucked. But it was made for pimply teenagers, not someone looking for a deep philosophical vision of sci-fi. I think it's gonna bomb harder than Terminator Salvation.

Movie was awesome minus a few things that didnt need to be there, scrotum for one.

Actually...the movie was made for guys in the 20s and 30s. I'm 27 and transformers were huge when I was growing up as a kid. Of course they have to tone it down and add humor and what not to make it more family oriented so as to draw even more ticket sales. As a fan of transformers for over 20 years...i thought it was awesome. If you think it's going to bomb...make sure you check out yahoo.com movie section sunday afternoon and check out the ticket sales...I'm guessing around $150 million for 5 days.

i saw transformers at ArcLight cinemas in Hollywood,ca it was awsome they had the bumblebee, the stingray corvette concept, and ironhide the GMC Truck anyone in socal should go check it out I am not sure how long they will be on display
