k excuse my previous post there, i dont know what i was smoking that day lol. the chrome dipped bulbs are great, just picked up a set for my rear light on my mazda3 and there asom. at night time there perfect, in the day time there 3/4 the brightnest of the stock ones.

however i think im gona go with a duel changing led bulbs for the front. heres the link to the bulbs
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/T...-p7472050.html
pretty cool if u ask me. plus ur parking light will be white instead of orange. but there expensive
here a video of how they work. note the reason they are blinking fast is because the guy has not installed a led load resistor.

Anyone tried Sylvania Silverstar Bulbs???

I'm looking at the Sylvania Silverstar Signal Bulbs the cost about $11 a pair.

When not lit, these bulbs have a metallic blue look. When lit, they are amber(yellow)

Since my Camaro is blue, though this might look good. Anyone tried these before?

SKU: Sylvania 3357AST/3457AST

I considered these but didn't want the blue look - the mirrored bulbs from Stealth Auto are more expensive but for me give a cleaner look. For your blue Camaro they may be a nice accent and @$11 worth a try.

Here's a pic of the Sylvania bulbs and link to their site.

Agreed. I'd go with mirrored bulbs too if my car wasn't blue. The blue look on a non-blue camaro might look "ricer"?

Since my car is blue, I'm going to pickup some Silvania Silverstars tonight and I'll post a pic of how they turn out. FWIW - $11.99 at local auto parts stores, $10.99 online.

Good luck - the directions to change the bulbs are on page 9-37 of the owners manual. For the passenger side you just need to turn the entire bulb socket counterclockwise to pull it out, on the driver's side you need to follow the instructions to press the tabs on the air duct to push it into the box to give yourself room to get to the socket - then same motions.

Looking forward to the pictures.

Sorry if this is a hi-jack, but trust you will find this entertaining:

Ok, I went to Checker Auto to buy some Silverstar Bulbs and it got hilarious...

At the counter are 3 Checker employees and about 8 customers all standing:

Checker Auto Rep, "Can I help you, sir?"

Me, "Yes, I'm looking for some Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. The 3457's are the ones."

Checker Auto Rep, "What's the application?"

Me, "Oh-Ten Camaro."

Checker Auto Rep, <loud for all to hear> "That's for an Oh-Ten, $hit-Ya-Lay---Tor Cam-arrow?"

Me, <just a slightest of nods>

Checker Auto Rep, "Is that an LS, LT or SS."

Me, "An SS."

Checker Auto Rep, "Sorry sir, we are not able to order that part number."

Me, <walking away and waving to him and loudly> "Thanks for checking. I'll $hit ya later!"

Very cool man, thanks for the video.

I am going to have to start a list of mods I want to do when my car comes in, there are too many to remember :p.

How much do they run?

*Edit $30 before discount.
