Mine came without NPP, I didn't get to order what I wanted, had to really search for this one, but the question is can you add NPP to a NON-OEM NPP CAR?

Yes, but you have to add the mufflers and vacuum lines

You don't have to add the vacuum lines if you decide to run them open all the time, that is their default position without vacuum.

Thats true, but for it to work as intended, you need vacuum lines. If you just want it for sound, most any catback will do that.

Official 2013 1LE specs list Dual Mode Exhaust as standard, not an option. This comes from the ZL1 registry website. Is that wrong?

I just bought a 2013 that I am now learning does not appear to have NPP. Only single tailpipes on each side. I guess it gives me more freedom to do what I want.

My 2013 2SS 1LE non RS did not come with the NPP exhaust. I thought it was part of the performance package according to the spec sheet for 1LE but I never got a response when I asked the question.

Which 2013 1LE Option NPP or Standard Exhaust do you own?
NPP is an option on the 1LE package. If you're concerned with the price you're not negotiating properly. You need to know about dealer holdback, incentives, and invoice pricing before making an offer. Complicated? Buy the book "what car dealers wont (or don't) tell you" and buy the service from Fighting Chance.
All said, NPP is a no brainier. I added the Forza 3 Exhaust Controller to it and couldn't be happier. I can "turn off" the loud sound on morning startups and "turn on" full wide open exhaust whenever I want. Date night? Stock sound. Track? Wide open. -CRT Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

NPP is not only about sound. It's also about looks. I actually wanted mine without NPP coz the quad wasn't doin' it for me ... at all.
