thanks but back to the camaro, i really like ss and i hope ss is awesome(if they do the ss and z28s again.) but if z28 is better performance ill take it. i just might up my limit to 50k. anywho i dont know if i would really want like a supercharged camaro, not yet atleast cuz this new job will require alot of driving and i dont wanna waste gas. but ill do some simple mods. i think this might be the wrong thread for saying all this tho.

Nope. We don't know what the trim names will be, hence the tendancy to refer to cars as the base V8 and the top dog. Should only be a few months until we have official word on what will be out at the time of release

Look at it this way. You could get a 305hp Z28 for how much? It is very possible to get a 400hp Camaro for 30k. Have faith.....

But those are the only possible names? Or is there a possibility there'll be a new designation other than Z28 or SS? Thanks.

Well, I suppose GM could go and call the trim levels Kitten, Popcorn, and Frank if they wanted to, but I don't see it happening (although . . . . "Introducing, the all new 2010 Camaro Frank" Nah, doesn't work for me). The names they use will likely be based on traditional Camaro trims and/or use the current Chevy naming system. Pulling something from left field just doesn't make sense. It would annoy enthusiasts and confuse the average buyer. It is assumed that there will be either a Z28 or an SS, or both. Having neither hasn't really entered the equation. Hope this helps

(On second though, being about to say that I have a Frank is oddly starting to grow on me )
