Nice! I like that new color. You probably need to see RH next to VR to see the difference. If you get a chance OP get us that pic.

Either way that color looks good. And I love the vents.

Same here. I think GM is playing the name game. Just like how they replaced Switchblade Silver with Silver Ice Metallic. It's the same exact paint code, just a different name.

It is not the exact same paint code. Red Hot has less orange in it. I agree they do look similar in these pics but the colors definitely are different.

I believe JR was referring to the slivers being the same! At least that is how I interpreted it!

Yeah that is what I meant. I had some confusion buying touch up paint for mine. It turns out Switchblade Silver and Silver Ice Metallic and the same paint code, which also goes by several different names on other GM cars.

I just suspected that Red Hot was the same as VR, I have not idea what those codes are.

Based on these photos, it sure looks like the new Red hot is brighter than Victory Red, but I guess we'll have to wait to see someone take a pic of 2 cars side by side to know for sure. hard to tell anything from internet photos... I remember when we all saw the first Kinetic Blue pics online and some swore it was the same color as Aqua Blue Metallic too. One thing is for sure if they ARE different...just like the tail lights and other changes, those who already have a Victory Red one will like theirs better than the new color...

And if you find that you have way too much perma-grin and want to bring it down a little, drive down to your nearest Wal-Mart or any other similar establishment. This is important, park as close to the entrance doors as you can and leave your car parked for at least 1 hour. Someone will eventually smash their door into yours....that'll clean up that perma-grin in no time.
