I did the SSE, CAI and Bushings (well I did the whole suspension). Bushings help get the power to the ground without breaking stuff and makes the ride better. I agree with a cat back or an axle back though. Ported TB is for throttle response and you dont notice it after awhile. All of that can be done while retaining warranty.
If warranty is not a concern then I'd say CAI, LT headers and tune. That will take care of need for the SSE but increases the need for the bushings. CC is debateable even though I have one.
After that start looking at cam and/or FI.

Big bang for your buck right there. A good suspension package can transform your car.

My first three mods so far are:
1. Mild to wild for the NPP exh. (I like to choose when it's loud or quiet)
2. Skip shift eliminator
3. Elite catch can

If you have the NPP exhaust that is definitely a good one.

It's a really high quality product. He's not too big on promotion, so maybe it's word of mouth or a group buy...

Would exhaust cutouts take place of longtube headers?

No, they would mount behind them.

received my VMAX ported throttle body yesterday, but got home late from work.
First thing this morning, I threw it on my SS.

OK, seriously, words cannot describe how F'n easy this mod is.
I watched the YouTube video a few times, but with the throttle body I received from Phil at Tampa Tuning, it was literally unplug the sensor, 4 bolts, then a clean swap.
No need to align the gears, that part was included already assembled.

So as to performance-
WOW!
throttle response is amazing. Fast and smooth.
This is hands down the easiest mod ever, and Phil is a great guy to work with.
