It just feels a little bit cheap without cc.
Do mind that I payed 65000usd for my ordered -14 2SS/rs here in Sweden!
Can't think of a single car in Europe? Really? There are a number of cars in Europe that don't have A/C at all.

Keep in mind that your Camaro is not a $65K car nor even close. It's a $35-40k car that you paid around $25k in import fees and taxes on. If you feel you're not getting what you paid, that's your government, not the car.

We've had dual zone cc in my wifes '04 Impala SS and it's never been switched except to put on the heater.

I just wish the AC in the Camaros were better in general. I was not impressed with my previous 2010 LT and I am really not impressed with my 2013 SS. Did I just get 2 duds in a row? The AC in my G35 was way better and could easily freeze me out....

The main thing I miss is the keyless entry into the car and trunk that was on my 2006 G35... Why doesn't the 2SS/2LT Camaros 7 years later have it when lots of $20k or so cars do. I don't really care about push button start as that adds absolutely nothing, but the keyless entry really helps when carrying things.

This thread gave me a great idea. I need a really thick red dye that doesn't immediately dissipate in water. Then go to someone's pool and tell all the kids that it has the magical chemical that shows up when someone pees. Then, either spray it around yourself to gross them out, or sneak up next to someone and turn it loose for all to see.

It's right up there with throwing a Baby Ruth in the pool, that's always fun.

Well ok, I agree with you about the price.. But still, that is what im paying at the local chevy dealer here. Don't get me started about the government.
But about the cars, I cheap dacia even has a cc, it doesn't have over 400hp though.. Well well, just wanted to vent my oppinions about the ac unit because I really got surprised when I saw it.

Cc is a gimmick to get you to pay more. It's not going to make a difference.
Some people on this site seem to expect it to be a caddy or German luxury car. They complain about the weirdest things.

Agreed especially on the higher end camaros at the price these cars can get to there is no excuse for the prehistoric system that is in these cars .

I love my Camaro but I too wish is had CC, not dual zone just CC. my 2003 Avalanche has it and I love it, my 2008 Altima (previous DD) has it also and was 15k less than my Camaro.
with all that I still love my Camaro over those cars, just wish Chevy would have made some other options available.

One less fancy thing to go wrong.

I have no problems with the a/c controls.

One thing I don't understand if the car did not have the amenities that you wanted or thought it should have why did you buy it and complain about it later?

Major things don't change inside a generation - and that includes dash renovations...3 years ago, CC was not a priority or cheap enuf, it'll be in 6th gen along with button start and all the other things you see in the newer cars these days...
