Just want to clarify for others, I wasn’t choosing sides in that last comment, I was just pointing out that it’s all a matter of taste. Neither "GO" nor "SHOW" is better, and it’s unfair to put "most people" into either category.

All show and no go. I don't intend to race or push my car to the extremes. It does enough as it is. I just plan to use it as a daily driver. 😁

All GO! My first few mods were appearance but didn't give me the satisfaction from putting the Vararam in. Since then it's all been gofast stuff. While I want more appearance mods, every time I get my heart set on something that looks cool I divert that money to something that will give me just a bit more

Go, and I don't find most of the show mods listed in the OP to add to the look of the car at all, so for me they go backwards.

Once again, this just seems like a V6 vs. V8 thread in disguise. Correct me if I'm wrong but MOST of the V6 owners chose their car for the looks/comfort/to reminisce on their old camaros, etc and MOST of the V8 owners chose their car for acceleration/performance. I'm not in any way trying to START a V6 vs. V8 thread here, I'm just saying that I can guarantee that almost all who say "all show no go" will own V6's and almost all who say "all go no show" will own V8's.

nope....my 2SS is all "show" because I have enuf "go" from the outset...

Don't get me wrong, I was very specific about using terms like MOST and almost all. You're the reason I didn't say ALL. Look at the other replies and then cars in the signatures of who posted them, you're one of the outliers

Only thing is everything was going with no mention of V8 or V6 until your previous post and usually comments like that tend to escalate into a V8 vs V6 thread. And we don't need that.

But doesn't most people who want "Show" hardly drive their cars??? Weekends to and from shows! People who have "go" or don't really care about either, well it seems they are probably their daily driver! At least that's the case here! Got roughly 520hp,, wife drives it daily around town! I clean it once a month! And it doesn't get tracked!

I would hate to be the instigator of a v6/v8 thread, my bad, I don't want that to start here. If it does I'll delete my comments. I was just pointing out my observations from the thread. I just think this thread had v6/v8 undertones from the get-go judging by the responses

I don't think it literally meant show car vs go car, I think it just meant do you tend to lean more towards cosmetic or performance mods.

I always wanted the SS just because the V8 and sound. Plus, I will keep it forever and only drive it on the weekends. I couldn't wait for my dealer to get one .So, I just went with a v6. But I'm trading for a SS just to have the sound and v8. Not for the go . Else, I would just mod the heck out my V6. That I love. But, I would mod for go later.
