Apex Catch Can

Chase... it seems a lithe larger than the others out there. Don't know the benefits of that or not.

One thing I have seen on another brand (Moroso) is the incorporated drain tube with turn valve to empty it. It seems like a good idea for consideration.

Yours appears to be equal or as good as any out there. Connector bracket nicely done as well.

Something in the bottom of the can so when you take the bottom half out you can just unscrew the plug to empty it instead of pouring it out? Seems like it would be a cleaner way to empty it out.

In the respect of how it is drained it's similar to an Elite can.

All you do is unscrew it and pour it into the drain pan when you change your oil, the little bit of oil that gets on the threads and o ring serve to lube it when you thread it back on.

Adding a drain valve just adds a source for possible leaks vacuum and otherwise. It overly complicates something that does not need to be.

It is larger than an Elite (size comparison photo posted earlier in this thread) or Mike Norris catch can. It is closer to the size of a RX. The size is optimized for the way it was designed to function.

This explains it very well. A valve adds complexity which increases the likelihood of problems. It also tends to be harder and messier than simply unscrewing the bottom, pouring out the contents, and screwing the bottom back on.

Wrapping that up is priority #1 for me tomorrow. Should have them available later in the week.

Dual outlet is not required for the ZL1 but it is for certain FI set ups.

The cans are currently shipping with the upgraded -AN fittings with push lock adapters for free as part of the product launch. The braided hoses should be ready later this week. They will be sold as a separate hose "kit" specific to the model.
