I had the same problem with the Richmond 3.55 gear set not fitting....They are suppose to send me a new carrier and gears....I opted to change the whole rear diff...3.45, axles and hubs from an ss. I like it a lot better than the old rear....Richmond needs to get off their butts and send my my parts so I can sell them to get my money back for the labor I had to pay to find out their gears are falsely advertised at fitting all camaro's 2010 up.

How much of a difference did do the 3.45's make over stock gears. Thanks for the info, and sorry you had to go thru all that trouble.

Ok great. Would you consider 3.91 or is 3.45 enough gear? Thanks for your input

Well coming from 2:92 what can we lose. I would go no more than 3:55 I'm good with that. Personally.

It depends a little on what your goals are for the car. Is this a daily driver and gas mileage is important, a 1/4 mile strip car, a road race track car, or a weekend fun car? Lower gears will improve acceleration at the potential cost of gas mileage.

Your right we have nothing to lose but alot to gain. But we would have to get a LT carrier for the 3.55 bc they don't fit into the 2ls carrier from what I've read.

I use my Camaro for weekend fun and some spirited driving here and there. When I do the swap, I'll be getting my money's worth and doing the 3.91s. Yea I'll lose some mileage on the highway but I'll gain a lil on the street.

I kinda wish I would have done the 3.91, but the 3.45 with a 3200-3400 stall works great.
