Was putting down 470 rwhp in my SRT8 so watch out for the mods. Will be a good race.
I'll put my money on the 'maro.

The picture shown of the 300 is not a SRT. Those kind of details really urk me.

When you look at the numbers the professionals are putting up, the 300 SRT-8 is about the same or very slightly faster. That's not to say it's better, it's in a totally different league. The 300 is for professionals who take customers to lunch, take their family out to eat or church, and the camaro is about those that have no kids and just want to rip between point a and b and turn some chicks heads. I think the 6.1 Hemi is much like the 426 Hemi, the horsepower is under-rated and when it's fed right (air, gas) it can be very wicked.

I own a 300 SRT8 and I got a camaro SS on order. I've driven a Camaro SS and I can tell you right now it will be CLOSE but the Camaro should win. Like some people have said it will come down to the driver. Just like the NFL, any given sunday....

A Camaro SS foes 0-60 in 4.7 seconds? Because thats what the SRT8 is listed at. I thought a Camaro SS was 4.9 to 5.0 seconds.

http://www.egmcartech.com/2008/07/22...60-in-46-secs/

Yeah i know SS can do it in 4.6 but isn;t that a fluke?

4.5 or less is a fluke (or mods have been done), 4.6 or 4.7 is typical advertised 0-60 time.

The Camaro should pull out the win.

This guy has no timeslip, and the video he posted up had a different time on it lol. (But still wonder if that one was stock? Doubt it considering there wasn't any other people below 13's on the site.) Just thought I'd share this obvious BS.

I'm not going to argue with the high 12's claims anymore, it's useless. A near/high 11 sec qtr in a car like the 300 with nothing more than a tune and DR's ??? Come on man. Stock for stock, I'd put my money on the SS with the 6 spd.

Hard to say. The 300 looks big and slow, but it is not. I seen first hand a Srt300 at PBIS(Marosso) pulling 12.7 with a intake, tune, and cat backs. Was a good driver pulling consistant 60ft times, and ET's. The slowest he ran that night was a 13.0.

So I would say it depends on the driver stock to stock.

Wow, I just couldn't imagine that big car getting down the track that fast without some more mods. I could be wrong, I just don't see it though.

This is just weird to me. The Challenger SRT8 has yet to break 12's, after two years, but both the Charger SRT8 and 300C SRT8 have hit 12.8's? Something is wrong here.
