Here is the deal..

Yesterday, GM customer service and The VIZ checked my status and it was still 3400 with 7/13 TPW. Yesterday, I also get a call from my dealer, told me that my car has been shipped. I doubted it. This morning, I checked spastic and saw a IOM 2SS/RS with all the same options as what I ordered going to my dealer so I can safely assume that is mine! Dealer was right! So it seems the car was already built, passed QC, and shipped and the status never updated. Dealer said it happens some times.
So those of you who did not get a VIN, relax, I bet your cars already got built and probably already in transit! Check spastic squirrel and type in your dealer's name in the search box to make it easier.

Its true. Most times the Workbench is up to the minute and sometimes it just doesn't update at all. Its most obvious in the TPW week but it happens at any time. Thats why sometimes you will see an order go from 1100 to 3000 overnight. Its like oops we forgot to keep updating this one. I assume its because there are some orders that are just falling through the cracks in that department.

Still no VIN on the spastic squirrel with my options for my dealer, or they changed the options on me. :-)
