Did you call Persion Industries to see what was up with the converter?

Ya it's the correct converter, the correct flexplate will be here in morning. I been doing the finishing touches on trans fluid lines and some electrical things for the lock up.

I got this piece of art since my converter had three bolts as well and didn't bolt up to the 4L80 flexplate. Also let me know if the trans pushes the engine to the side in order to line up correctly.

Companies selling you 3 bolt converters with a 4l60 pattern for a 4l80 are cutting corners to save money.

They used the same 3 bolt piece from my 6L80 converter since I was gonna return it for a 4L converter

This converter bolted directly to TCI 4L80 flexplate.

I ordered mine from precision industries also and it wouldn't fit the TCI but I got the correct one now. Bolt pattern makes no diff in performance. Anyway
We got the tranny in last night but have to take it back out in morning to cut for the plug for my lock up and a little trimming but all in all its real close. Extremely tight fit!!!
