Indeed.

Not only that, but a quick google check shows that U.S. car sales slipped to a three-month low in January 2014.

Now to all of you Challenger haters out there, unlike Ferd and our rides mothership GM, Chrysler sales were the only ones that actually rose, at 8% for the month.

I know what you mean, if they had made a '13 or a '14 Bullitt Mustang I would have one -but alas no...

Thanks for the props!! I am living the dream after 20 years now in the service I get to own the kind of cars my Dad and my crazy uncles use to drive back in the original days of Muscle Car lore...

I wonder what happened in 2009?
Several things happend. The Economy, the reintroduction of the Camaro and Challenger(the Mustang was in a market all by itself for a number of years), I believe if I am remembering right the 09 MY didn't have a normal run time, before MY 2010 started.

The economy, and the added compitition are the main factors I'm sure though.

I saw my first 2014 camaro today other than mine... It was AGM, and an SS... it was behind me. I opened my sunroof and waved at them! I live in a smaller town, so seeing another on the road is a big deal ha! I also had a little fun with a challenger today. I passed it on a two lane, and then it passed me. So I passed it again, and then it got up right beside me and looked at me and I just laughed. Speed limit was dropping so I let him get ahead and merged behind him. Was my first experience like that!

I weighed them both, but my Bullitt Mustang is lighter still than the Camaro by almost 475 lbs!! The Camaro needs to lose some weight too!
lol...it seems the bigger always get to chose first...poor little bullitt left outside of the barn!

Nice garage! The full 3some.

Actually if you move the mustang over to the side a bit i think a charger would fit nicely in there. Just throwing it out there ;o)

Wasn't real sure where to post this...but this seems like the logical place.

Anyone know the numbers as to how many V6's vs V8's the Camaro sales are.

I'm just curious.....my local dealer normally only carries 1 SS and a lot of V6's.....I figure it's because the V6's sell better.....but I would have thought a 50/50 mix would be more accurate.

Your never gonna have to worry about dodge ever being close, they consistently price themselves out of success. Over priced over weight

I don't know the exact number, but I believe at 1 time FBOD Father said 67% of all sales were V6's.

Not true at all. Now that Fiat owns Chrysler, I would expect to see the company pushing Challenger sales more and more.

Furthermore, I know Chevrolet lost at least one sale because of the tires on the 1LE. A friend of mine was 100% dead set on buying a 1LE Camaro until he found out about the tires not being capable of being driven under 40*F. It's been 25* or less here in Detroit.

Because he would immediately need to get a 2nd set of tires, he instead went out and bought a Challenger R/T.

I can't imagine he's the only one who wanted a sports car with taller (3.90) gears.
