I was at the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals in DuQuoin, ILL this past weekend.
I talked with the owner of a 2012 45th Anniversary Edition Camaro.

Her car had a fairly wide, although short top to bottom, front rock guard that she said came that way stock. The rear guards matched it. Not like our rears, but they looked like they'd work well.

Just a thought.
Sorry, I didn't take pictures

A '13 rear flap can be used on the front....

Not a '14 rear flap, due to they are longer. I guess you could use one, but you will be cutting the lip off and it won't match the front.

So those of you using the 3M tape... are you running the tape all the way from the top of the guard clear to the bottom of the plastic body extension or are you stopping at the bottom edge of the fender?

Mine held strong for a few weeks but I noticed today that the tape had let go about halfway up the guard. I am not using the clips. I prepped both surfaces with rubbing alcohol prior to installing. It was a little strange to me that the tape was wider than the lip on the fender and there was a gap at the bottom where the guard met the plastic rocker extension, hence my question about whether you all are taping there or not.

Couldn't you buy another set of front guards and reverse them? IOW, the front left one to the right front rear and vice versa? I was looking and looks like they should fit, the wheel wells seem symitrical

NO,
The front fender guard is part of the underside of the splitter on the ZL1.

I taped mine all the way down. Didn't use the clips. Driver side holding good. Pass side popped off about halfway down where attached to fender. Still holding on front of side skirt. The tape is attached to fender lip but pulled off of guard. I used alcohol and adhesion promoter on both fender lip and guard. I think the problem is I'm using crappy 3M from Autozone. Someone on here said you need to use 3M 6384. I'm going to redo it with that when I get off my ass and get some.
Just called my local NAPA and they have it. Guess I'll get off my ass this weekend, lol.

Great, thanks! I was using PN 6384 on mine and it came loose from the splash guard but was holding firm to the fender. I'll try it again, prep both surfaces liberally and run the tape all the way to the bottom this time.
