I don't really post about the maintenance on this thread or any "bad". I've been chasing an oil leak on this car for probably 2 years now. Ever since the heads/cam. I've taken it back to Redline because the leak started directly after. They also chased the leak and "fixed" it numerous times to no avail. Last time I did an oil change in the car i finally figured out it could be the oil cooler.
After searching Camaro5, apparently a leaky cooler is pretty common. Let me tell you this, way way harder with the twin turbo kit. Wasn't very hard but the lack of room made it more difficult than it would be.

Little sneak peak.
Still need a new cam/pushrods. Going to change valve springs while the heads are off, just to freshen up the top end. Also need 1.06 A/R backhousing for the turbos

Its almost been 2 years with the twin turbo setup now. I've been secretive-ish about my HP numbers my car made. Now that I have a new motor going in ill post these finally. Only 9.5PSI too.

Anybody have experience with Diode Dynamic headlights? Mine are pretty dim. Looking at the 6k. Also looking at oracle side markers too

Im thinking about doing the fogs and headlights. When I got the car I remembered people flashing me thinking the brights were on. Now I can hardly see. Theyre the original OEM bulb so im hoping its the build and not the headlight/lamp itself.

Did something I said id never do.......... sneak peak of a drag setup.
Had a ton of weights on all 4 tires. The ZL1 brakes knocked off some of the weights just rotating the tire to see if the brakes actually cleared so I opted not to put on the entire setup. But theyre Racestar 92s. 17in. Now i gotta say ill never do a 15in conversion.

Really enjoyed reading this build thread. Love how you kept the car looking stock. Lots of inspiration and ideas in here!
I may have missed it, but still the stock TR6060 and rear diff?

Still stock TR6060, only a McLeod RXT. Still stock 1LE rear end. Stock axles, stock diff bushings, no billet end caps, no tru trac, 100% stock rear end for now. Just have the solid subframe bushings, trailing arms and toe links. Have been eyeballing either AFE power featherlight coilovers or Pedders Extreme XA coilovers. Need money for race car parts

Nearly 13 years of ownership. May of 2019 I ceramic coated my car for the first time ever. After 7 years I noticed the hydrophobic properties diminishing.... which meant my coating was finally failing. Right about time because I could start to see some slight swirling. That time I used Adams Polishes ceramic coating. It was their brand new 9H formula, they just upgraded from 6H to 9H.
This time around is Adams Advanced Graphene ceramic coating. Ive used it before on my wife's 22 1LE and on a friend's Ford Explorer. The way my wife's car came out 3 years ago was amazing and this was nothing short of what I expected. Of course I did the entire process, wash, clayed, only required a 1 step polish, coating prep and application.
