We finally got a break here in the North East. This latest snowstorm is staying to our South.
As long as the roads are dry I take my SS out with my Toyo Proxes 4's all season tires.

Yeah, I'm not impressed by the snow and freezing rain but there's nothing wrong with sleet. Esp on ladies night, there are many sleet in the bars then....

Yea man. I feel ya!!!

I bought in october. Stored in november. Took out one day last week.....and now more snow.

Looks like weather is breaking though. All 30's and 40's for the next 15 days.

Gotta wait for a good rain or two to wash the streets

Ha! Don't bet the farm on it! I grew up in the Utica area and had to cancel an annual Memorial Day camping trip to the Adirondacks because of 8" of snow. Trees (with leaves) down, power outages, hazardous roads, etc. Of course, that was in the late 70s and Global Warming has all but eliminated that possibility these days.

I totally understand where you are coming from i used to feel that way but i have changed my ways. If you live where i do you could spend up to 6 months looking at your ride under a cover. It takes the fun right out of the hobby for me i need to drive my vehicles under every condition. No matter what i have now if winter tires are not enough to use my ride 12 months a year it does not go into my garage. Rust, dents, scratch's and swirl marks all part of the deal there just battle scars of enjoying your vehicles.

Agreed. Having a good set of winter tires, every time it snows it's just more fun driving. With the manual transmission, the v6 car is too fun to not drive year round.

Here in Massachusetts, we accept the fact that salt-free driving may not happen until the middle of April.

My wife wanted the ecoboost i wasn't drinking that kool-aid. No matter what i start up now its the beautiful sound of a V8. Firing up a V8 before/after work is one the best parts of my day. Its awesome.

in my area here in the mountains of WV the winter of 09-10 was the "snow-magheddon" winter, crazy snow, we had no where to put the sh*t. snow up to the roof edges and then some in some cases. just seemed like it would never end, then by the end of march it was all gone. this year has been the worst for the cold. in a typical year we might have two or three days in the negatives and none of them consecutive, this year we have had strings of negative degree days, and the number I am sure is in the multiple times the typical year. still I am anticipating taking her off tender between the 15th and 20th. or at least that is the plan and taking her for periodic spins around the neighborhood.
