80w for $35 def a great deal & think 5500k color will match my LED DRL halos well on my 2014 SS/RS.

No rush. We've got a member with the same car testifying that they work great and we're risking all of $35. I detest the OE color. Totally out of step with the rest of the RS lighting package, and worthless as far as actually providing any illumination.

What does "5500k" tell you? How is that different from the 35W LEDs?

4000 is white, 5000 is bluish white, 6000 is blue....

Hmmm, didn't realize that. You said earlier that you thought it a good match, right? Do you know the color rating of the OE halos?

Yeah but should be an easy plug and play swap. Not worried. I'm more concerned/interested as to the color and light output. I want it on "sear".

The install is a breeze that's for sure! I've also added the Halo DRL harness that keeps the blinkers from disabling the DRL on the 2014.
