I had a 4 door Lumina Euro back in 1990, that car was unstoppable in the snow. I put a set of Goodyear all weather radials on it and had absolutely no problems. I kept it for 5 years and traded it for a 95 Lumina, but for some reason even with the same tires it wouldn't go worth crap in the snow. I traded it a year later for a 96 S10 Blazer.

I just got an '05 for my winter as my former winter (2000 suzuki vitara) died beyond repair.

Feels weird being behind the blue oval vs the gold cross but I do like it as my winter.

This is my third Ford Escape. They make pretty good winter beaters and for me my DD. Never had a single problem with the first two.
