Get the SS. The sound, the power, and of course the superior feeling over the V6ers when you see them on the road!!! (this is a joke, kind of) I had a V6 CTS and regretted not getting the V the entire time. I traded it in after a year and got my SS. You will feel great every day getting into the V8 even if it is going to cost you an extra $30 a month it's worth it.
The only negative I can say with the SS is my gas mileage but I can't complain because if I was trying to stretch my gas mileage I would have bought a Prius, not a Camaro. |

If your going to buy a V6 then get a CTS.
If your buying the Camaro get the V8. JMHO

The V6 is quite a bit more power than your mustang. It may be able to satisfy your power itch. It all depends on how you drive your car now. To be honest If you were satisfied with your Mustang and what a nice bump in power get the V6 fully loaded Camaro. If you want a huge bump in power and the expense of your pretty interior toys SS.

found my 2SS/RS last aug (it's a 2010) For under 25k from a private seller, might need to look in classified or craigs list verses the dealers. Just need to look car over good as you might not get warranty with buying from private seller, mine was out of warranty, but looked new, ran great and easier to do mods since i don't have to worry about voiding warranty.

Less than a week ago, I got a 2013 1SS, manual transmission with 12,000 miles for $27,855 plus $700 for a beater trade in vehicle. So good deals are out there, if you can wait and snoop around a little.
Oddly enough, you could almost call this a 1.5SS car because it has the leather seats and the Hurst shifter. Must have been a special order car. Rick Two CT90 and two ST90 bikes |
