I live in Stillwater, Oklahoma -- home of Oklahoma State University who's colors are orange and black. I have had to settle for black vehicles because there has never been a decent orange color for vehicles or a vehicle I liked in orange. What can I say? I fell in love with the IOM color and hopefully this next summer I will be driving an IOM Camaro.

My favorite color is blue, and I've always wanted a blue sports car with white stripes (the Viper was my pre-determined mid-life crisis). After seeing pics of the Aqua Blue Metallic, it was a done deal. Went with silver stripes to keep the metallic shimmer consistent over the whole car.

And when I picked it up... it was love at first sight

I chose IBM because my dad's old Trans Am was a similar blue. Kind of an homage to one of my favorite childhood cars.

When we walked in to Talty Chevrolet (Morris, IL) to order our car. My bride and I were set on Red jewel Tintcoat. As we were sitting by our Sales associate's desk, he stepped away to get some clarification on some questions we had.

We looked over inthe showroom, and there sat a new Malibu, (RJT) of course. We looked at each other , and I knew that was over.

On the spot, we went with Black with IOM interior and added IOM Rallye Stripes. Talk about making a statement when you see a car. Holy Smokes!

Basically, we wanted a car with attitude. At a recent cruise night, a buddy of mine said, " That car looks angry!"

"HERE PONY! HERE PONY!"

Now that's "Attitude!"

IBM! With the nice, bright sun we have down here, the color will pop without being -too- flashy. Nothing against any other color, I just didn't want a bright colored car.

Was impressed with how Corvette Velosity Yellow popped off the road when it drove by, so chose Rally Yellow even though it is not as bright as the vette.

I am seriously intending to paint Sunrise though, so probably should have waited for Summit white for the correct white base coat.

Blue is my favorite color, so I went with IBM.

To be honest, all the colors look great.

RJT, even though I had never seen it in person, but my dealer/friend that I ordered my car from knew me back when I had my "Firethorn Red" '76 Firebird, so he told me the RJT was the closest to my beloved Firebird color...

He said that it looks awesome in any Chevy model he sells...

I am not disappointed!!!...it is my FAVORITE CAMARO COLOR, hands down!!!...although there is NO COLOR that this car looks bad in...every color ROCKS, IMHO...

I like the fact that the RJT looks different in every different light...in the sun, it looks kinda like "candy apple red"...in the shade, it looks like a "mean burgundy"...

BTW, the very first Camaro I saw in person was MINE!!!!...so it's a good thing I actually liked it in person, having never seen one.............

I really wanted black... but black is too hard to keep clean in my opinion... so I went with the CBM.. its still dark but will hid some of the dirt!

I just love Cyber gray and thought the 2 chevys should share the garage. Here's my stablemate for the Camaro when it gets here.

I went with black because I always loved a black muscle car.......but two weeks ago I saw the RJT in person and I was floored at how gorgeous that color is in person...So I changed from black to RJT

I ordered black with IOM rally stripes. I liked the look the best when I built the car online. Most of my cars have been black. My 79 Camaro was called "bahama blue" it was gorgeous! My 2001 Camaro was black - and when it was clean (MOST OF THE TIME) it was like a mirror. Gotta love the black. My last car (2004 Grand Am GT) was orange, I was ready to change!
I gotta say "all Camaro's are beautiful" I don't care what color they are!
