Who invited the 6-bangers to the party here They're screw'n up the numbers in this thread.

But srsly
Dennis - what's wrong with the numbers from that little test you did? 10.1? That's good man. Shows you that your Brampton driving sucks in more than one way (i.e. sucks fuel).
Frank - you get good milage b/c you baby that thing so much. Get yer foot in it brotha!
Mat - Maybe it's your ground effects messin' with your milage - j/k

For anyone that lives in a major metropolitan area (I use that phrase b/c driving in DT TO will be a lot different from say Mississauga) a difference of +/- 1 L is nothing. That can be chalked up to how flat or hilly the city is. There is simply too many variables to do a good comparison. If a bunch of us go on a long cruise we could better compare.

LS3.
15.7 L/100km on 2300km trip. Didn't reset the counter yet.
That's a lot I guess but I'm not really gentle on the gas pedal.

I'll have to check my average speed when I have some free time. It must be pretty high...

Just checked mine again (post oil change, which was done at ~2400 km). I'm now at 11.9L/100km (up from 12.3L/100km) with 2456 kms total. So ~ 24 mpg. I'm a little surprised... I'm usually pretty heavy off my starts but perhaps the oil change and engine break-in has helped out.

I just checked my average speed this weekend and it was at 47.2 kmh. Mostly city drive but I took it on the highway for some fun. What the hell are you supposed to do when a 370Z passes you by.
