So at least they were real Cool about it.

I gotta say though I'm glad that I heard it that day cause I'd rather have the updated version anyways. For peace of mind if nothing else, these cars are to expensive to be shitting around

I agree, my dealer might not be that quick to order me a new blower though.

I would seriously consider coming down to Chevy in New Hartford then on commercial drive. John is the service manager and he is a great guy and Joe is the only guy who works on the camaros (Also Corvettes)...they know the problem is there, especially after doing mine and if yours makes the slightest marbling sound, your getting it no questions asked.
Let me know though how you make out At your dealer cause I can always put in the word that your coming. I've known John since high school..

On another note, I installed the mild to wild switch yesterday. Pretty Cool but because are flaps are open already at idle I wish there was another setting on it where you can always have the flap closed instead of just factory operation and open flap. That way I can demonstrate it at idle to people, that would be chillin!

Thank Eric I'll let you know. And yea I agree about the flaps. The zr1 vettes were like that and thats how I thought our cars would be.

This DashLogic lets you open and close the flaps whenever you want to.

We are not safe with the 2014. Mine was a spring isolator.

mine was also 8/13 but is #383 so I would say you have the spring isolator.

Dang... that stinks. Sorry to hear that. I know that there were early 2014s on here that people have been speculating on if they had the spring loaded one. Mines #2095.

Does the TSB cover ALL ZL1s, or just 2012-2013?

I admire your restraint! I picked mine up 6/6 of this year and already have 2200 miles on it! I just can't NOT drive it!

I'm having some work done to my wife's 14'ZL1 this week. I'm only wanted to do lower pulley but was going to put solid isolator in if need be. I called my dealer to see if they had a serial number split of where the solid isolator start to be installed. He said he has a service bulletin ( I didn't get the number) that stated all ZL1's built AFTER Nov/13' had the solid isolator. Hers was built May 14' so I should be fine. Car #2214

that's f*&^ing awesome!
mine was built 9/13.
one of the reasons I bought a 14 was they were suppose to have the solid isolator.

I guess I should have known better than to trust the GM bulletin as being accurate.

what is the part number on your supercharger?
it is located on the passenger side under the red cover.
