I agree with most that if GM is still standing and is ALLOWED to produce this car in anything other than V6 then it may be more like 2013-2014, If production is still going strong. I am in no way sad that i got my 2010, i have had my share of t-top / vert camaro's and love me hardtop. Good Luck to those who are waiting; hope it all works out.
I also love my 2010 hardtop with the sunroof! I hope the 2011 Camaro Convertable makes the 2nd quarter 2011 release for all those who are patiently waiting it's production.

Almost 2 years kind of stinks, but it might just be in my timeframe. Start saving for it now I guess!!
I am a huge GM fan (hope they survive) but it does suck that it takes them so long to get product out the door!!
It could also benefit them as hopefully the economy will be back on track by then, who knows maybe their timing will turn out to be perfect.

I was hoping my saturn would last until february or so, so that I could order then and have my camaro convertible by Jun 2010 which was the original 9-12 months after the hardtop hit. sigh. I might have to buy a new car before the vert makes it now.

2nd quarter = Apr-June. With 2011 models announced a while back starting in May 2010 does this mean some verts will be 2010's or will they all be 2011's and actually role out in May?

Considering they come out May 2011, they'll either be late 2011's or 2012 models...

2 years to cut a roof? That's so long ... with that kind a schedule I should be able to buy the brand new Z28 for my retirement ... in 30 years ...

Deposits are already being made on this car, because people are INSISTING to be at the front of the line for this one.... Maybe not the demand of the coupe, but lots of demand for sure! I would expect that since it will be made on the same line as the coupes (at least for now), there will be an allocation of those as well......it also may put a damper on coupe production with a high demand.....so hopefully we have lot inventory built up by then!
