I ordered from Freedom, great experience with them and my car is almost here to be delivered on 8/17(Monday) according to tracking with Union Pacific. I know they are charging over MSRP now, but when I went to them in March to order they only hit me for $500 over, but in that $500 over they game me: 5 window tint, door edge gaurds, painted pin stripes, and one year unlimited car wash/detailing. I think that you should go there and talk to them and let them know that there are dealers selling at MSRP for example Tom Henry according to TAGURIT and they have allocation and maybe you can get the deal. They are willing to work deals. $500 wasn't that big because I was going to tint it anyway and good gauranteed tint would have cost around 150-250 anyway, and detailing and washing the car costs money as well around 50-60 if you get it done from a decent place so everything else was just a plus. Talk to Hollis there and tell 'em JewelZ sent you. If you want PM me you can drop by day I pick up my car, I will let you know when that will be.

Yep...no wing. I live right close to Biff's too. It's on ebay right now...if you do a search for "2006 EVO 9 MR AMS" you'll see it. Though the auction is ending today.

I now call her the "down payment for the camaro"

The only thing that really sucks is that I've invested like 18k into her, and she handles and drives awesome, just that the Camaro is so much more fitting for me nowadays.

Just FYI because I went through Freedom as well, the 1-year of car washes is through Texas Shine, which is a $200 or $300 package alone. At Texas Shine, you pull your car into the brushless car wash, and then when you're finished the kids there dry the car for you. The problem with this is, they use the same towels over and over. On any other car, I would probably not care, but I kind of wish I hadn't used them twice now. It may be convenient, but I'm not entirely sure how much damage this does to the paintjob.

Ken Sheridan is very nice and easy to work with in ordering. We should get in the allocations within the next two weeks and then start waiting.

We have had a great experience with Gunn, bought a used car for our son there last month and really like them.
Congrats!!

Honestly I did not check with Vara since they had the "first" camaro to show a few months back. At that time I was not planning on ordering, but hoping to buy one off the lot. I did not like the way they treated me. I got there about 1 pm and the Camaro was under a cover. They refused to "uncover" it until after 5pm even though their website advertised simply "Come see the new camaro today!!" I asked them repeatedly to at least let me see the oustide of the car because I could not wait until 5pm and they refused. No concern in earning my business. I have bought from every dealership in San Antonio at one time or another. Unfortunately the experience has always turned out negative.... either the time of purchase, or when service was required.

Lundquist is the first small town dealership I tried. Great "family" atmosphere and they took care of me as soon as I walked through the door. My salesman Dan sits and works right next to his wife (who is also a salesperson). How many other dealerships have you witnessed that? I like the personal touch and the fact that you are not just a number waiting in line. Whether it's to purchase a car on the lot or ordering one, I felt like I was important and worthy. Granted, there is still time to go and other parts of the taking delivery and service to experiience but what I've seen so far, Lundquist is extremely impressive.

I firmly believe you'll get your best deal (especially if your trading in) and overall sales experience with Dan at Lundquist.

Couple places...your dealer will need to provide the event codes status up to 3800...then you can use the tracking thread here on Camaro5 to fill int he rest.

i am going to check out lundquist as well based on what i've read so far. i know gunn has a good rep. but i'm just sick and tired of big city dealers and their attitude. freedom really pissed me off and ancira wasn't much better. man, sometimes i just wanna punch the sales guy in the face for being such a cocky douchebag.

i also believe now is the perfect time to support the small town dealers who are doing the right thing and putting customers first at a time like this. we are in a shitty economy, yet big dealers are still doing everything to try and rip us off. it really rubs me the wrong way.

no offense to the person who payed $500 over sticker at freedom, but you bought an LT. they wanted 10K for a red 1SS automatic they had in the showroom when i was there. i told the salesguy they were crazy and good luck selling it. they don't want customers like me who actually really care about the car, they want idiots who'll take it in the ass all day long and just want a "cool" car they saw on transformers.

arlight, /end rant.

I haven't asked the dealer or checked here yet. I know the target delivery date to the dealer is going to be mid November.

You will get the TPW off of the event codes thread (if there is one). I noticed you have already posted your code today. The person who provides this information normally responds within the thread several times a day but there has been talk he may have taken the day off today. Keep checking. You will see his avatar as a skull and can find his reponses faster that way.

I ordered my Camaro from Lundquist today. The staff was great. I set up the meeting with Virginia. She was busy with customer, so the manager came, greeted me, then referred me to Manuel to place the order. I paid MSRP; exactly how I priced it on chevrolet.com. I couldn't have been any happier with the service at Lundquist. Thanks for the advice!
