My SS vert has the BA system with the sub between the rear seats. I always thought it sounded pretty good. But then again, I'm not trying to thump bass like I'm in a 1992 time warp.

The BA, like I said earlier, has talents in wider music range response and system controls.

I 100% agree with this. The range is great, but there's not much oomph. But like most here, i generally listen to the v8.

had I not upgraded my non BA system in my 2010 1 LT I would have never known how much better the after market system can be over the BA system. when I test drove my 2011 2SS I was deeply disappointed with the BA system, not to say the system is bad because it is not. I was just used to better. if you are not used to better then the BA system probably sounds pretty good to you. the BA system is good to have because the wiring is already ran so it will make upgrading a little easier. that's my .02 cents

1st mod I did was the system by Phoenix Gold specially for the Camaro. I was shocked how bad those speakers are!

You get my point.

I'm replacing the BA's speakers, sub and amp in my 2014 Vert SS. It sounds good at low volumes but you can't crank it up loud enough for my taste with the top down at high speeds. Going with Focal speakers, Kenwood amps and Memphis subs. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=371250
