Ok... i'm going to try and not be inflammatory here... but I am going to be brutally honest... expecting some one to layout $12K for you to DEVELOP a turbo system is way out of line... very very untypical... and I know multiple people that have gone this route with different companies... They all received their systems for FREE...

I also have a friend who builds SEMA cars every year, including developing a turbo for them... And I can tell you the $40K is, well.... ridiculous... sorry...

My last mustang was a show car and was in the magazines... I have friends that either own shops or work at companies that actually develop forced inductions systems... so, yeah, i have some experience with this...

Other thing is... how are you going to get around tuning the car? And what about covering damage to the owners car? What happens when you pop the motor during development?

Good luck...

To be fair this is going to be a lot more than a turbo system. I agree this is more than some of us are willing to do, me included, but to make a car go around the Ring faster than the GTR is going to need a lot more than turbos.

Wow....GREAT deal but NOT for the person giving the 12K

Plus no car for 4 months..........

For that extra 12k (over the 2LT cost) you could have a 2010 SS camaro and a SUPERCHARGER to put on it. _____

All that has been mentioned so far is twin turbos... if you want to be fair then need a better break down of what $12K gets you...

I know they would break it down for you once the confidential agreement was in place ,but if I were to guess (no real info from East Texas MC)

Forged internals, Cam, Headers, Cat Back, Coil Overs plus ton of suspension work, Wheels, Tires, Transmission work or completely new transmission, Tune, etc

Again these are just guesses and I have no direct confirmation from East Texas MC. I did speak with them ,but we did not talk specifics. They want the confidential agreement in place.

going to be very limited on any kind of parts to build up the LLT... if any at all... tuning is a whole another story... While I'm unfamiliar with East Texas Muscle cars, i would think they do not have the dedicated resources like HPtuners, SCT, Diablo, etc to develop a tuner for the LLT...

how much suspension work can you do... that' fairly inexpensive...

exhaust will need to remain stock most likely since they are developing a turbo "kit"...

While I applaud the guys for trying... i think there are some serious hurdles in place that are causing even the big companies to say they are holding off on FI for the LLT...

I'm all about dreaming big... but some times you need to be realistic too...

They have a plan. Should be fun to see what they do. It was a bold move and sometimes that pays off big and sometimes . . . boom

While I am a big V6 Enthusiast, I am also a REALIST... so, while I'm all for adding some FI to a V6 and improving things like stock suspension and other drive line components... I have to say, yeah, if you are going to set some very lofty goal like taking a on a GTR head one... well, yeah, start with an SS.....

They are shooting for V6 versus V6. The SS would mess that up. Should be fun to watch.
