Right, disconnecting the battery clears the CEL and from what I read on here is the computer resets and readjust as well. So I gave it a shot.

Forgeddabout disconnecting the battery to clear codes and all the other battery disconnects reset stuff you have to deal with. If you have an Android phone get the Torque app ( free version is fine) and one of these $12 ODB2 readers http://www.tmart.com/OBD2-II-EOBD-EL...FUkF7AodayAAAg and you'll be able to see what CEL(s) you have and clear them from you phone in under a minute. Works like a charm

Mark, go to the developer's web site. While the app is $5.99 you need to first buy a low energy Bluetooth ODB II adapter or an ELM327 Wifi ODB II adapter to use the app. I just bought the LE adapter for $40.

Read more here ...

I suspect this plus the track / logging app for iPhone would be pretty darn cool.

I bought a Bluetooth ELM327 adapter from eBay for $11, and use it with Torque app to get all the data. It works like a charm, and the cost was next to nothing.

It only resets (ie. clears) the CEL code. The code will keep coming back everytime an emission drive cycle completes and sets the emission readiness monitors to Incomplete (this is was sets the CEL code) and you'll have reset/clear the code over and over again each time it's set.

Has anybody actually tried the JBA high flow cats yet? I'm thinking of this being my first minor performance mod this winter. I'm building backwards, cats then x pipe then eventually headers. Once I get to the headers I'll do CAI and tune.
