the fuel we have is crap, i have a engine that needs leaded fuel and they dont look like that. now, what to do? i'm not a big fan of the mechanic in a can chemicals, but bg makes a pretty decent fuel additive called 44k that does clean. hope this helps

http://www.aa1car.com/library/pcv.htm . Bad gas leads to build up in lower parts of the engine. The build up/blow by vapors get recycled via the pvc system leading to more than usual build up on the intake valves. Sorry that I wasn't clear or specific when blurting out information/advice.
