Biggest issue with harness bars is your rear seat is useless. However, I cant believe that nobody has built one for the rear seat belts so that u just take harnesses off after tracking and ur rear seat is perfect again. Also your shoulder harnesses will be higher mounting which is better. Think using hook shoulder harnesses on top child seat mount...they are probably too weak but a bar back there or mounts that are strong would be awesome.

Check out the Brey-Krause r-1150. Doesn't require tank plates. DOT approved. Bigger issue is whether a harness without a roll bar is deemed safe.

The situation they are describing would be extremely thick plating. 3/16 in the world of steel plate is very thin. Harness manufacturers recomend 3500lbs load capacity for the lap belt mounts. Analyzing that I've done shows my plate would deflect about .157" with 7500lbs on it.

SOLD

I have one set (1 left 1 right) of proto-type plates that I will offer at a reduced price ($115 off). They are the exact same as the final design but have a slightly thicker material thickness all the hardware is included.

Selling as a set only $300 PM if interested.

SOLD

I'm on the fence about getting these. I need a harness bar as well, so considering the Brey-Krause setup which would negate the need for these plates.
I am hoping to find a harness bar that goes in and out easily, as I still take my kids around in the Camaro all the time.

Used it with harnesses and bar setup. Easy to install, easy to snap the belts onto it, and no issues during driving the course. Highly recommend the product.

If you make more, I'll end up buying them from you.

I'm not usually on the forums though, so send a PM when you make more for a guaranteed sale.
