This is a Chevy Camaro vs ...... forum. This isn't a Mustang drag test video forum. Why not compare the GT500 against fair competition like a Super Charged Camaro.......????

Oh right... that's not a fair competition now is it? Keep posting threads with a Supercharged car vs N/A.
I don't see where the OP compared anything. He simply reposted a link to something that has been covered on this forum before.

As for your other suggestion, the can't compare a factory supercharged GT500 to a factory supercharged Camaro because GM does not make one.

I also realize everyone is not going to run a 11. It depends on who is driving. But yet many here as well let that little factoid escape them when they felt they had something to gain by harping the M/T track times.

I run both of my Mustangs all the time and I understand what it takes to get the best out of your car. As fas as Magazine racing, go back to that old thread and address every single poster that took it as gospel.
i like the gt500, but everytime i see a post(re-post, in this case) on these forums toting the gt500 flag in an attempt to ruffle feathers and stir up members, a little bit of my respect for the gt500 diminishes.

you may say you get that it's magazine racing and this and that, but in the end it seems like every week there is a new mustang owner starting a "GT500 is Holier than thou" thread. although you may get it, that doesn't stop the next mustang owner from coming on here week after week and bringing up old magazine articles.

it seems like most of these gt500 vs. camaro threads are created by mustang gt owners. correct me if i'm wrong, but you often coin the term "run what you brung..." i think i have seen roughly 3-5 gt500 owners that actually "brung" the car that you all deem the best in the world and they tend to be the more level headed out of the bunch... i think they realize they have a great car and don't feel they have to beat this dead horse of a topic every week

2010 Camaro, with the same GT500's HP Rating.

I have destroyed gt500 Mustangs by 37.9'. We brought our car to there horsepower rating on the dyno before running! Enough Already! The Shelby could not get out of the hole it was a joke.

Did two threads get combined ?? It would seem so. I know I am going to take a beating for this...but oh well.

Its amazing what 2 threads on the same topic can go in different directions from just what poster's reply's are to the threads. In one thread people go wow ! that's great ! The other gets bog down with "so whats" and "this is a camaro forum", and "troll blah blah's."

Very interesting to say the least. Its quite obvious when the "bad" thread joined the "good" thread..

I think its a great car and great times but find it amusing that there are enough mustang threads created by mustang guys on a camaro forum that they need to be merged

Kind of like how Cubs websites dont like White Sox talk on theirs. Or how Nazis dont like Jewish talk on theirs. OOOOH or about how xbox doesnt like PS3 talk in their forums.

Do I need to go on? I just dont understand people that love to troll in direct competitors threads....especially those that try to be nonchalant and act like they arnt stiring the pot.

I can tell you with honesty I have never went to a Ford website and even registered on it. Why you might ask? Because I dont plan on buying a mustang, and I dont care what they think about my cars. I will read them from time to time for info, but thats it.

Im not insecure with my purchase to the point where I have to go tell people how badass my car is or a car that I will never have is going to be, on a competitors enthusiast website. Do you see me going to Ford/Dodge websites saying "oh man the zr1 pawns all these cars...stock". No you dont.

Why again you might ask? Because its stupid and not logical as Spock would say.
